Community Alert.
Anyone 65 years of age or older with a landline phone and living alone is entitled to a free monitored alarm. These alarms come in two styles. One is worn around the neck as a pendant; the other is worn on the wrist like a watch. At the push of a button, the wearer is in communication with the monitoring company who can contact neighbours, friends, and / or emergency services.
If interested, contact any member of the Community Alert Committee.
