STF Racing, an F1 in Schools team from St. Fanahan’s College, Mitchelstown, Co. Cork, yesterday competed in the South Regional Finals (in Cork Institute of Technology) of the competition. Besides qualifying for the National Finals, the team also picked up two awards on the way – Best Team Website and Best Team Marketing Campaign. Their car managed to travel 20 metres in just under 1.69 seconds.
